About the building

The neoclassical landmark of Rustaveli Avenue, built in 1938 to a design by architect Viktor Kokorin. The April 9, 1989 tragedy and the 2003 Rose Revolution unfolded here; since 2019 the building again hosts sittings of Georgia's parliament.
